The FSP 3000R7 guarantees flexible, scalable, and secure optical transport in an era of inexhaustible bandwidth demands.
The FSP 3000R7 expands capacity efficiently in large enterprise networks, as well as inter-office, metropolitan, and regional rings. A high-efficiency, high-density design promotes compact equipment footprints and lowest possible power consumption.
Versatile and efficient at its WDM core, modular FSP 3000R7 networks simplify ownership of complex optical networks. Optical+Ethernet provisioning creates resourceful end-to-end connectivity from Access to Metro/Regional to Long-Haul backbone.

Wavelength Technologies
The FSP 3000R7 supports Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) and a mixture of both, called Hybrid CWDM/DWDM.

Within DWDM, the FSP 3000R7 supports these schemes:
• 40 channel, C-band, 100 GHz spaced
• 80-channel, C-band, 50 GHz spaced
• 96-channel, C-band, 50 GHz spaced
• 120-channel, C-band, 50 GHz spaced, and L-band, 100 GHz spaced

 

40-Channel (100 GHz)
The system supports up to 40 wavelengths per network interface, using the C band only, in compliance with ITU-T G.694.1 (100 GHz channel spacing).

80-Channel (50 GHz)
The system supports up to 80 wavelengths per network interface, using the C band only, in compliance with ITU-T G.694.1 (50 GHz channel spacing).
