The IAD196 converts analog voice data into IP packets and transmits data through the IP network. Number : G5AD8016813C2D Brand : HUAWEI
ConsultProduct Description
As the media access gateway of Voice over IP (VoIP) and Fax over IP (FoIP), the IAD196 is applied to the Next Generation Network (NGN) or IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). The IAD196 converts analog voice data into IP packets and transmits data through the IP network.
The IAD196 is connected to the NGN/IMS through the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). It connects calls between calling and called parties through the Media Gateway Control (MGC) or SIP server.
The IAD196 can be connected to networks through the x Digital Subscriber Line (xDSL), switch, or Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) / Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON).
The IAD can transmit integrated voice and data signals to the NGN and IMS in the following ways:
The IAD is connected to the DSLAM through the RTU and is connected to the IP network through the xDSL. This mode is applied to mature xDSL copper cable networks.
The IAD is connected to the IP network through switches. This mode is applied to residential, office building, and enterprise users.
The IAD is connected to the IP network through xPON so that uplink services can be processed at high speed. This mode is applied to the scenario where fibers are laid out in residential areas and corridors.
